Waterfield Technologies, a provider of voice and mobile applications for the enterprise, has acquired Chrysalis Software, a supplier of professional services and software for the contact center industry. Chrysalis Software will be maintained separately as a Waterfield Technologies’ company and will continue its mission and focus on the Avaya Contact Center marketplace. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Together, Waterfield Technologies and Chrysalis Software will expand their ability to deliver professional services and applications by leveraging Waterfield Technologies' experience within the contact center industry and custom mobile development frameworks, in combination with Chrysalis Software's experience with the Avaya suite of products including IVR, contact center and workforce management platforms.
The acquisition is expected to significantly expand both companies’ offerings across a selection of contact center platforms with offerings that will include applications and services focused on the financial, healthcare, retail, and energy verticals as well as create greater efficiencies and increase market share.
“We’re extremely excited about the future of both companies,” said John Marino, CEO, Waterfield Technologies, in a statement. “Together we will lead through unmatched customer service and client focused delivery, combine industry knowledge with technical expertise to drive new innovation, and build recurring revenue to fund the expansion of ongoing product and software development.”
