VXi's Envoy Office, Envoy UC, and UC ProSet LUX headsets, together with VXi Connect software, have been certified compliant with key team engagement and customer engagement solutions from Avaya. All three headsets, used in combination with VXi Connect Software Release 1.13, are now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya one-X Agent H.323 Release 2.5.8 and one-X Communicator 6.2.
"This DevConnect compliance testing means existing and prospective customers can be confident that our products will seamlessly integrate with their Avaya infrastructure," said Mike Ferguson, VXi’s president and CEO, in a statement. "Ensuring that VXi headsets are compliant with Avaya one-X solutions enables customers to maximize the value of their investment in Avaya technology."
VXi is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program, an initiative to develop, market, and sell third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network. As a Technology Partner, VXi is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible.
"Technology partners like VXi Corporation are helping Avaya provide customers with professional, innovative, easy-to-use solutions," said Eric Rossman, vice president of developer relations at Avaya, in a statement. "Solutions such as VXi headsets provide customers the flexibility they need to help improve the customer experience and deliver a competitive advantage."
