Genesys has promoted Tom Eggemeier, its executive vice president of sales, services, and support, to president.
"This new and well-deserved position recognizes Tom's proven leadership and numerous contributions he has made to Genesys," said Paul Segre, CEO of Genesys, in a statement. "I am confident that his appointment positions us well to fulfil our ambition to become the undisputed leader of the emerging omnichannel engagement market."
Since 2012, Eggemeier has been instrumental in helping the company achieve more than 40 percent revenue growth by leading global sales to address new market opportunities and by taking advantage of a new and expanded Genesys product portfolio that includes native workforce optimization and digital solutions, among others.

Current Chief Financial and Operating Officer James Budge will be leaving Genesys at the end of this year.
