Fathom Voice, a provider of cloud-based contact center software, has released Fathom Startup, a program to help startups better manage external communications at an early stage. Fathom Voice has made its entire global platform, including Connect, Customer Care, Sales Accelerator, and its Developer Platform available for free to qualified startup companies accepted into the program.
"We pride ourselves on the ability to give back to the entrepreneurial community through the difficult, costly lessons we have learned while growing our own company," said Fathom Voice CEO Cameron Weeks, in a statement. "This program provides high-growth companies the opportunity to have a well-rounded communications solution so they can focus on expanding their business."
The Fathom Startup program includes the entire Fathom Voice product suite free of charge to qualifying startups for one year. In addition, startups also receive one-on-one coaching for customer service best practices, support from Fathom's Cisco-certified technology team, and 24/7 technical support at no cost.
"One of the early lessons our founding team learned when we started Fathom Voice was that relying on our cell phones as the core method of communication for our company was a recipe for disaster," said Bracken Fields, executive vice president of product and infrastructure at Fathom Voice, in a statement. "We found that as the company grew and our roles shifted, it was difficult to update the numbers people had associated with our company, as well as maintain a professional external appearance when a customer of prospect was trying to reach us by phone. We hope to alleviate these growing pains for young businesses that are accepted into the Fathom Startup program."
