Conversocial, providers of a social customer engagement platform, has acquired HipMob, providers of an integrated live chat platform for websites and mobile apps. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition paves the way for Conversocial to extend its digital customer engagement platform to web-based chat channels and in-app messaging on mobile for customer care. It will soon enable Conversocial to deliver live chat integration, with functionality across all channels, including web, iOS, and Android.
