ComputerTalk Technology's ice, the Intelligent Communications Exchange, has been certified for Microsoft Skype for Business, meaning that it has ice has passed third-party testing by demonstrating a high-quality experience when deployed with Skype for Business.
ice is a native Skype for Business Contact Center Solution that allows users to build communications workflows that connect users with the right subject matter experts. It is one of the first contact centers to receive this designation.
"We are pleased to see ComputerTalk certify their ice Contact Center for Skype for Business Server 2015 and extend the communication experience for organizations to achieve more," said Andrew Bybee, principal group product manager for Skype at Microsoft, in a statement.
ice provides an extensible interface to create contact center applications. Using ice, organizations can leverage CRM data, skills, and speech to route, record, and report on voice, email, IM, Web chat, SMS, video, and desktop sharing in a unified communications contact center.
"This gives us independent validation that ice integrates well with Skype for Business and that Skype for Business supports the features that ice implements," said Chris Bardon, chief software architect at ComputerTalk, in a statement. "This certification includes validation of our outbound calling solution, which will give our customers the confidence to deploy ice on the latest releases and topologies that Microsoft supports."
