Bright Pattern, a provider of omnichannel contact center software, has achieved the highest level of compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). This was achieved through third-party certification by CompliancePoint.
The PCI DSS is a set of regulations mandated by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to protect credit card transactions and cardholder data, prohibitting agents from viewing sensitive information and protecting customer information from outside sources.
"We believe that software becomes enterprise-grade when it addresses a multitude of requirements intrinsic to the operation of a larger enterprise," said Konstantin Kishinsky, chief technology officer and founder of Bright Pattern, in a statement. "An enterprise's non-compliant behavior impacts many people, so a number of standards on privacy, security, and accounting need to be mandated. PCI, HIPAA, TCPA, Ofcom, and other standards are required for enterprise contact centers. The best way for them to achieve a high level of compliance is to select partners who are compliant with third-party validation."
