Avtex, a customer experience (CX) consulting firm, has acquired Automated Voice & Data Solutions (AVDS), a provider of contact center and customer experience communications solutions that leverage Genesys' contact center technology portfolio. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Combining AVDS' expertise in delivering enterprise voice solutions with the additional products and services offered by Avtex offerings will enable our customers to meet the digital transformation requirements to help them remain relevant," said Brain Holdampf, Avtex's chief business officer, in a statement. "We have built up our national coverage and looked to bolster the south-central area to complete our coast-to-coast ability to market and deliver CX technologies. AVDS was the perfect fit for this piece of the puzzle."
"For over 26 years, it has been my privilege to see AVDS clients succeed and thrive in the face of tough challenges brought on by shifts in technology and consumer behavior," said Sharon Moon, AVDS's president, in a statement. "I've also had the great pleasure of leading a team of some of the most innovative, dedicated employees to help our clients achieve success. To be able to hand off the leadership mantle to Avtex for both our clients and employees is the best outcome for everyone. Avtex and AVDS share many of the same core values and vision, and I am excited for what the future holds."
"Avtex is clearly on the move and continues their dedicated and purposeful investment to the Genesys CX platform," said Paul Rolf, vice president of global partnerships and alliances at Genesys, in a statement. "We're ecstatic to see them continue to grow and help deliver new standards of experiences to our joint customer base."
